"The
[EAV] acupuncturist is an individualist."
The developer of EAV was Dr.Reinhold Voll. EAV is known by other names such as Electro Dermal Screening, it is also used as a system of measuring points by bio-resonance practitioners. Voll developed EAV widely known as “Electro Acupuncture after Voll” from his initial learning and knowledge of Chinese acupuncture in the 1950’s. He developed the EAV system now used today by many practitioners, by using electrical measurements Voll found that there were other points, not recognised within TCM. Using these electrical measurements of points he found extra meridians (energy lines) not known or recognised within Traditional acupuncture (TCM). He also attributed orthodox medical terminology to the “points” instead of the Chinese terminology used in TCM, many of which in view of finding the “extra” meridians had no known Chinese terminology anyway. The points were then researched by many students who took sets of readings from patients with known pathology and conditions. The relevant points shown on these patients were then documented which in turn lead them to the most common points found showing adverse readings for these types of pathology / conditions. The EAV system has withstood the test of time in its capabilities as being an accurate diagnostic and treatment system, utilised by modern acupuncture practitioners.
The use of accurate electrical readings were and are reproducible by experienced skilled practitioners. The statement “points” is very relevant, in that no condition can just show one point, even although the worst will show, there will be other readings / points associated with ongoing sub-clinical pathology or for want of a better term in the “background”. There could be inflammatory readings showing, that the patient recognises as more of their condition wise than the “worst” readings taken ! These could be likened to chains of ongoing events, within Modern acupuncture they are commonly known as “causal chains”.
The EAV / Electro Dermal Screening diagnostic system is used by many practitioners, including bio-resonance practitioners, hence the term “Modern Acupuncture” which encompasses not just one part of this accurate system, but is incorporated by other systems of modern acupuncture on the web site.
Assessment and treatment can be by various modalities, so it is as well to enquire with the individual modern acupuncture practitioner as to what type will be utilised. As all practitioners do not necessarily use the same applications of treatment or measurements of points. ___________
I have read various articles on EAV, one article states that the most 'distal' (furthest point) on the fingers and toes also known as Ting or End points are CMP's (central measurement points), this is not true ! This practitioner thinks they know it, but obviously don't, well not from an EAV perspective. Ting points are not CMP points by any stretch of the imagination.
Also another part of an article questions the validity of remedies made with EAV units, which is fine, except this person has obviously had no experience of Mora / Bicom / Vega Therapy remedies with patients, or would not state this if they had experienced and observed the changes, made with patients. I would also hazard an educated guess that this person cannot or does not practice EAV, as it should be practiced, thinking they know, is not the same as doing or trying what they think they know !
They are maybe challenging the computerised units of EAV, which I also have doubts about with reference to making remedies but not their capability in diagnosis of points if used correctly or testing against ampoules of remedies.
A basic homoeopathic remedy is a remedy that cancels the adverse frequency that is the cause of the patients problems, the remedy for want of a better phrase unlocks a 'stuck' situation. This equates to : Right remedy = right action and cancellation of symptoms associated with that remedy. Wrong remedy = no action on symptoms or condition of patient.
They then go on about the 'medium' for the acceptance of the bio-resonances etc. If this is not acceptable even though a patient feels and is better readings / findings wise, then Homoeopathic medicines of whatever form are not acceptable as well as bio-resonances remedies ? Or is it just a subtle 'plug' for the companies that sell Homoeopathic remedies ?
This is not 'knocking' the companies as they do produce excellent remedies. What I am saying is be objective and logical about your thinking and not mislead by spurious statements made. |
